Workplace Health Checks
Empowering Employees and Supporting Business Wellness
We offer comprehensive workplace health checks that provide immediate results and actionable insights. After every health check, each individual receives a personalised health results record, clearly outlining their outcomes alongside practical recommendations for improvement. These results are presented on easy-to-understand charts, making it simple for employees to track their health progress over time. By comparing results from one appointment to the next, individuals are not only able to see how their health is performing but also stay motivated as they work towards their personal wellness goals.
Our workplace health checks cover a range of vital screenings, including blood pressure, cholesterol levels, glucose screening, BMI assessments, and general health checks for conditions such as heart disease and diabetes. With our immediate, visual feedback, employees are empowered to take charge of their health and make positive lifestyle changes. The clear presentation of their results helps to boost motivation, as they can see their improvements in black and white.
In addition to supporting employees, we also provide businesses with anonymised reports at the end of each health check day. These reports give a summary of the average outcomes for all those who participated, offering valuable data for employers to make informed decisions about future health initiatives. By understanding the collective health of their workforce, businesses can identify areas that may require attention and design targeted health campaigns, toolbox talks, and wellbeing initiatives to address any identified trends. This data-driven approach allows businesses to better support the health and wellbeing of their employees while also fostering a culture of care and responsibility in the workplace.

Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) Testing for Early Detection
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men in the UK, but early detection significantly increases the chances of successful treatment and survival. However, the symptoms of prostate cancer are often hard to detect in the early stages, which is why regular PSA testing is essential. By offering PSA testing within the workplace, businesses can provide a simple, non-invasive method for their employees to take control of their health without the need for time off work. This enables employees to have essential tests done without losing valuable work hours, especially for those who work on a day rate.
The PSA test is an easy and quick assessment that only requires a small droplet of blood, which is collected by our trained clinicians right at the workplace. The sample is then sent to our UKAS-accredited laboratory partners for accurate analysis, with results typically available within 48 hours. This is far more reliable than at-home testing kits, which have an average accuracy rate of around 70-80%. PSA testing through our laboratory guarantees 100% accuracy, ensuring peace of mind for both employers and employees. Early detection of prostate cancer has been shown to increase survival rates by up to 90% when caught in the earliest stages, according to NHS information on prostate cancer.
For businesses, offering PSA testing is not just about supporting the health of individual employees; it is an important step towards reducing absenteeism and preventing long-term health issues that could affect workforce productivity. By making this test available at no extra cost to employees, you are investing in their wellbeing and creating a supportive, proactive work culture.

Monthly Health and
Wellbeing Campaigns
We offer monthly health and wellbeing campaigns for businesses that align with individual business and national initiatives, ensuring your workforce stays informed and motivated about important health topics. These campaigns are designed to engage employees in a fun, interactive way while promoting healthy habits and practices that can be easily integrated into their daily routines. Whether it's stress awareness, mental health, nutrition, or physical activity, our campaigns provide valuable insights and actionable advice to improve overall wellbeing.
Each campaign includes a variety of resources tailored to the needs of your workforce. From engaging educational materials, toolkits, and interactive quizzes to in-person or virtual wellbeing talks, we offer a wide range of activities to capture your team’s attention. We also provide useful tips and challenges that employees can participate in, making it easy for them to incorporate new health strategies into their lives. Our aim is to inspire a culture of wellbeing, where employees feel supported and encouraged to take small steps towards better health.
To maximise engagement, we make sure each campaign is designed to be enjoyable, informative, and easy to participate in. Whether through friendly competitions, live webinars, or fun, interactive events, we create opportunities for employees to connect, learn, and implement changes together. This helps foster a positive and supportive environment in which your team can thrive. By promoting education in a way that’s both entertaining and impactful, we ensure that everyone walks away with valuable knowledge they can use to improve their health, all while reducing stress and making health an enjoyable priority.
Drug and Alcohol Testing Services: Supporting Safety and Compliance in High-Risk Environments
We offer professional workplace drug and alcohol testing services to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and compliance of individuals working in high-risk environments. Our UKAS-accredited laboratory partner (ISO17025) deliver precise, reliable, and confidential testing results, all while ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Our goal is to help businesses maintain a safe and productive workplace by minimising the risks associated with drug and alcohol misuse, ultimately promoting a safer environment for all.
We test for a wide range of substances that could impair a worker's ability to perform their job safely. Some of these include: Cannabis (THC), Cocaine, Opiates (such as Heroin and Morphine), Amphetamines, Benzodiazepines (e.g., Diazepam), Alcohol, and MDMA (Ecstasy). These substances can significantly impact performance in high-risk environments such as construction, transport, and manufacturing, where safety is critical. For example, cannabis can affect coordination and concentration, while cocaine can lead to heightened anxiety and impaired judgment, potentially causing risky behaviour and accidents on the job.
Our testing methods follow strict chain of custody protocol and work to cut-off levels, which determine the minimum concentration of a substance required for a positive result. For instance, in THC (cannabis) testing, the screening cut-off is 15 nanograms per millilitre (via LC-MS/MS). For Cocaine, the screening cut-off is 100 nanograms per millilitre. These cut-off levels ensure the accuracy of our testing process. All results are confirmed using the latest technology, and typically, results are available within 48 hours. As our laboratory partner is UKAS-accredited to ISO17025 standards, we can guarantee a highly professional and confidential service with reliable and precise results every time.

Health Surveillance for Workers Exposed to Workplace Hazards
Health surveillance is a crucial component in protecting workers who are exposed to various workplace hazards and risks. In industries such as construction, manufacturing, agriculture, and transportation, employees can face harmful conditions such as excessive noise, dust, vibration, chemicals, and other physical or environmental stressors. Continuous exposure to these risks can result in long-term health issues if not properly monitored and managed. By offering targeted health surveillance, we ensure that workers' health is protected and any potential issues are identified early, allowing for timely intervention.
Our comprehensive health surveillance programme includes a range of assessments designed to monitor the impact of workplace hazards on your workforce. These include audiometry tests (to assess hearing loss from noise exposure), respiratory assessments (for workers exposed to dust, fumes, or chemicals), hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) monitoring, skin assessments (for workers exposed to hazardous substances), and more. We also offer eye health checks for those working with chemicals, as well as musculoskeletal assessments for employees who carry out repetitive tasks. These assessments help identify any early signs of ill health, enabling you to take proactive steps to mitigate risks and ensure a safer working environment.
Implementing health surveillance is essential not only for the protection of workers but also for the long-term success of your business. By identifying health risks early, businesses can address and mitigate potential problems before they become significant issues. This helps prevent costly workplace injuries, illness, and absences, while also reducing the risk of compensation claims in the future. Health surveillance plays a vital role in demonstrating a company’s commitment to employee wellbeing and fulfilling legal requirements, which can provide important protection in the event of a health-related claim. Ultimately, a proactive approach to health surveillance helps create a safer, healthier workforce and protects your business from future liabilities.
